Run Jaime Run!!!
Okay so we all know that I have struggled with my weight since I started having kids. I am sure my issues with food began as a kid but I was always really active so I was able to have issues and not be affected by it... anyways, one thing that I realized this week was that I do so much for Everyone else. I am a Mom and Wife. I am supposed to be serving my family and that is okay but it leaves very little time for ME. Eating became one thing I did for ME only ME. I wish I had figured that out 10 years ago... but now that I have I can change it. I usually don't share super personal stuff on this blog. I am a pretty private person but maybe my "ah ha" moment can help someone else. So what is the thing I am going to do for ME? Run! Run my ass off (literally). I know it isn't near as fun as eating but the end result is a better healthier me. This is MY year. My year to get healthy and be comfortable in my own skin. To enjoy life again. To be able to go out and do things and not feel all weird about how I look. I can't wait!

Snow Day!
01/08/2010

It completely floors me when school gets canceled before it even snows! I mean growing up in the west life goes on unless there is a ton of snow (I don't remember ever having a snow day). Ha ha well the kids love it and even started a ritual the night before a wanted snow day (and a storm is expected) they wear their pj's backwards, flush ice cubes down the toilet and do a snow dance. They got two this last week. They built an igloo, sledded down the driveway, shoveled, and had a blast. I didn't get very many good pictures I wasn't about to go out and freeze so I stayed in with the baby. On the second day AJ was sledding down our neighbors driveway and she went and the sled did not and she chipped her two top front permanent teeth. Luckily we have a great dentist and he was able to get her right in. He has temporarily fixed them with some bonding material and hopefully there wasn't too much damage to the pulp of the tooth. I wanted to cry as I take pride in their healthy teeth!
Okay so I really need to figure this out! These photos are backwards again so here is the "after" picture and the next on is the "before" picture.

Our family grew by four feet....
Yup four tiny feet! B's Christmas present a chinese dwarf hamster.
Her name is Ellie.
We learned that E can NOT have benadryl (ya know that rash he had the Dr said that benadryl would maybe help). It makes him HyPer. He would not hold still so we went with it what else can you do?
Found a way to keep him still for two seconds (literally)!
There are just too many pics to post but we had a really good Christmas! It was nice and relaxing. Just the way Christmas should be.
01/27/2010-B's hamster died last week. She was very sad. We aren't sure why she died. B took really good care of her. We buried her under a tree. I guess we will be shopping for another one this weekend.

Peanut Butter Baby
Some of the treats we made for neighbors were pretzels with Kisses and mint M&M's, Ritz Peanut butter Cookies, Marshmallows dipped in chocolate, No Bakes, and Wonton Kisses.

All the packages going out to family.
One of the many aprons we made for our teacher gifts. My friend DeAnn came over and together we made about 12 aprons.
SuGaR CooKieS
Okay these are not in the order I intended but I am not going to upload them over again... These are the ones that actually turned out! The kids got to decorate them during the party!
