Little Pink things getting the Pink Slip

While I was going through the baby bins I realized that all my little baby girlie things are getting the pink slip. No more little pink dresses, no more tiny little girlie shoes, little pink sleepers, and blankets, and no more little pink bows! The days of little pink things are gone. I didn't realize how much I loved those little pink things. I guess it's a good thing big girl things come in pink too!

Finally some Photos

The massive laundry pile we had to do after finding lice
Daddy was such a good sport he did the treatment and comb through.
Mommy was too grossed out!
P fried our Thanksgiving turkey it was so yummy! Yeah we finally get to eat! They were just slightly starving!

Who needs toys when you have a laundry basket to play with!
Happy Happy Birthday K!
The Ben Ten watch he waited and waited for!All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!
Our Christmas Tree.
This year I let the kids do all the work (P put the tree together)
and let them do all the decorating. I think they did a fantastic job!
JC and K
JC did not want anything to do with Santa.
As soon as he walked in the room she ran and hid behind my legs.
It was pretty cute!
K loved him.

Serious Update is in Order

Hi all! I know I have some serious updating to do. We have been really busy. Not much time for blogging. Thanksgiving was hectic thanks to some little critters that decided my daughter's head was a perfect place to live. (yes Head Lice YUCK) We found them late Wednesday night and completely turned the house upside down on Thursday laundry, vacuuming, washing all of her clothes, washing all the bedding in the house, bagging up all the stuffed animals and dolls that were out, cleaning the bathroom, washing and checking all the other kids heads etc... etc... But we did manage to get a meal on the table and I would have to say it was really yummy. Paul fried the turkey, I made all the fixings and pies. The kids didn't seem to mind Too much (ha ha they were starving) that we didn't get dinner on the table until 5pm or was it 6? Knock on wood no one else has gotten them. Phew! JC must have molars coming in and has been waking up at night something we aren't used to but maybe she is just getting us ready for number six. Motrin before bed does seem to help so that is good. It is now cold here and gloomy most days. This is the time I wish we were in California and could go outside and play on any given day. K is 5 today! Happy Birthday Buddy we love you! I can't believe it has been 5 years since my little buddy was born. I can remember his birth like it was yesterday. He was such a cute little baby. So sweet and cuddly. He is still pretty darn cute! I saw my Dr. this week and baby boy is growing and doing fine. He is moving more these days and seems to already have his nights and days mixed up. I am tired and feel like a horse. P says I waddle already but he would too if his crotch felt like it was the size of a watermelon :) (Love you Babe!) At the same time I am really trying to savor every moment I have with this little guy. It is sort of bitter sweet. This is the last time I will feel the incredible and sometimes slightly painful kicks inside me, the last time my belly will be round because it is supposed to :) it's the last. Last time I will experience pregnancy! I am thankful I get to have this experience I really am. Hopefully I will be able to get some photos up this weekend. Don't hold your breath though you may pass out! :)

Cold Season

Oh Yeah! The cold season has hit! Each one of us has had one symptom or another. K an ear infection, B a runny nose, P and A a cough, Jacee has had a bit of both here and there, and I have had a cold. I think J is the only one who has not had anything but a headache and I am sure that was due to lack of wanting to do homework! :) Well, here's hoping we are all getting it out of the way before February. I would hate to bring home a new baby to a house full of sick people!

Stupid Bird

No it's not dead just in shock!

The other day on our way out a bird flew in! Crazy stupid bird I know it really didn't know any better but it sure was having a hard time getting out I don't know how many times it hit one window or another. It reminded me of the Windex commercials where the bird hits the window not realizing there is a window. Except our windows are far from clean. Anyways it kept hitting the window and at one point it hit the back door so hard it fell to the floor. It seemed to be in shock and would not move but we eventually got it shooed out the garage door!

Halloween

My favorite part of Halloween was carving pumpkins. K did not want to touch the pumpkin guts which is so funny since he is such a boy (don't boys like gross things?)

A Day at the Park

Last week we walked over to the park to get some fresh air and sunshine! It was a bit cold but worth it. Sometimes you just need to be outside! 10/28/08

Sweet Indulgence!

There isn't much better than a huge chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream, fudge, caramel, and whipped cream! Their eyes completely lit up when they saw what desert was!

Monkey Bar Mug Shots (veiwer discretion advised!)

This was taken this morning before school. She looks a little better!

So a couple weeks ago the nurse from school called to inform me that A had fallen from the monkey bars and had a goose egg on her head. She said it had gone down quite a bit just since she had been in the office and had put ice on it. I can only imagine how big it must have been right after the fall because by the time I saw her it was HUGE! I know why they call it a goose egg it really was the size of an egg! Photos do not do justice on this one!
Yesterday evening Aspyn comes running in the house yelling B fell off the monkey bars and has a bloody nose! B of course (I wouldn't expect anything less from my Drama Queen whom I love) was screaming or should I say shrilling either way she was completely flipping out. So we grab her a paper towel and she calms so I can see the damage. She bit her inner lower lip luckily not all the way through, she scrapped up her nose (hopefully not broken still too swollen to tell), and hopefully she won't have a black eye.
Neither of them wanted their photo taken but cooperated Mug Shot style!

Photo Shoot

It was such a bright beautiful fall day so I thought I would get a few photos of JC. She was soo cooperative and cute. It ended up being a bit too bright and shadowy but I did get a few that I love. K decided he wanted his picture taken too. He was super cooperative as well. They are such cute stinkers! (Unfortunately the other 3 were at school. At some point I will have to get some of them before it is too cold!)

Pickin' Pumpkins

A trip to Irons Fruit Farm wouldn't be complete with out
cinnamon cider donuts and apple cider!

JC did not want anything to do with a regular pumpkin!
She picked this one it is her "watermelon"

Going to Iron's Fruit Farm is one of my favorite things to do with my family. I love taking them to pick out their pumpkins. We always have one rule they can only get a pumpkin they can carry themselves! They were all very selective this year they would pick one up then decide it wasn't the one and start all over. I think we were the last ones out in the patch! JC liked all the gourds and didn't want anything to do with a regular pumpkin the one she ended up with she calls her watermelon. October 18, 2008

Grandpa and Grandma's!

We never have enough time with our granparents so we cherish the times we do have!
We will miss you all so much!
